Blinken writes to Vuchy: Asks for mutual recognition with Kosovo

Going beyond normal protocols, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken sent a letter to Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in which he wrote a special message under the official part of the letter. But the most important part was on this part, where he asked Vuchy for mutual recognition with [...]
“The US is committed to our long-term relations. We share the vision of a democratic, stable, promotional and democratic Serbia in the step towards EU membership. The US's long-term goal has been to see Serbia and Kosovo reach comprehensive agreements focused on mutual recognition”, Blinken writes in the letter sent to Vuciqi.
While “I fully remember our good conversations and I am looking forward to renewing them”, Blinken wrote with a pen at the end of the letter, which was sent on February 23rd and with which he thanked Vucinqi for his appointment as Secretary of State, Novosti reports.
That he received a letter from Blinken, Vucinic discovered the day before, assessing that “not counting the history of mutual recognition with Kosovo”, the message was “ience and good” in all other aspects, for which he thanked Blinken.
I commended him for appointment to an important position in the United States, and I believe he also remembered our co-operation. He even wrote something with his hand, so this is important news”, Vuciq said.
