Democratic League of Kosovo candidate Besian Mustafa has reacted after rumouring that he ran to get the votes, Lumir Abdixhik.
Through a Facebook post, Mustafa has said Vetevendosje took over 100,000 votes and had no words and no response in the party.
While he has indicated that at the moment his candidacy was announced, forces outside the party attacked him, offended and hinted that his candidacy would take any of the candidates' votes.

The last elections split us and half of us. They rejected every calculation. I know that if I calculated it would make it easier, I'd be more comfortable. Even this talk today, if it were not so sincere, would be easier for me. But calculating proved to be the wrong method and I refuse to calculate and be part of the calculators. So I wrote an open letter asking to break the silence. So, even today, I ran to break the silence.
We in LDK keep silent. We were silent when we brought down an anti-Western government. We didn't fight, but we cowered and calculated. But that was neither our first nor our last silence. We've been silent for 15 years for lack of opening the party. We treated our party, The LDK, which was once the largest Albanian popular movement, as temporary work, whose offices only opened during the elections. We didn't reform. Even the few reforms we made were dim, controlled. They were calculated.
I'm sorry where we arrived today, but I want to see everyone in the eye and tell me, was LDK of Silent lbra? Was Gemma the man who calculated it kept it quiet? If they were silent and calculated, they would be on the top of the former system, not on the top of the movement that devastated Yugoslavia.
Today, we need a leading LDK, not a follow-up. A LDK that decides, not that it hesitates.
An approaching LDK, not moving away.
A LDK offering solidarity and unity, not that the curse was shared.
A speaking LDK builds up, not silence.
The LDK is right, it's the real brain movement of this society, it's the house that needs to be returned to Kosovo, to turn to the citizen because the country needs the LDK, because Kosovo needs Euro-Atlantic movement. Kosovo needs the LDK to restore and rebuild our deliberately destroyed ties, with our exile in New York, Germany, Switzerland, found. The real LDK is the integration catalyst, the development race, the building up of prosperity.
Me, it's Besian. Biologically, Jamie's. Politically, except for LDK. Rootly, of the foundations of 1989.
Vetevendosje took over 100,000 votes. Not a word, no reaction in the LDK. When I announced my candidacy, forces came out outside LDK that attacked me, insulted me, insulted me, lynching me because my candidacy is calling someone a vote. Besian candidacy in LDK is a crime! Not a word, no reaction in the LDK. People were brought in who didn't have anything in common with LDK as if they were protecting the LDK from Besian. Because Besian is taking away the LDK from those who lied and lyncated for decades the LDK, those who were never in LDK. Not a word, no reaction in the LDK. Silence and only silence in the LDK. That's why I ran. I force you to break the silence.
They say it's better to live a day like a lion than 1,000 years as a coward rabbit. Once upon a time, we in LDK lived like lions because we had the good and bad word in the eyes of each other. And today, the good word séia we say to each other remove, and the bad word is said behind our eyes, behind our backs, under the table, under the ground. Full of fear.
Delegates today are invited to vote in the box - by secret vote, both the chairman and the General Council, as well as the Headship, according to individual assessment. Not in anger. Not with calculations. Otherwise, we'll forget about 12 percent. Voted for what in 30 years will be shown to grandchildren, with their heads high, that these delegates were there when the chairman was elected who, without calculations and mathematics, restored LDK to her former glory. The chairman of whom today, after this Parliament, we are all listed, starting with me and each candidate, soldiers of our common cause. The chairman reforming the LDK structures, with co-operation and co-ordination, not with resentment and revenge, preparing them for domestic elections in 2023.
We cannot allow ourselves today, like many other times, to leave this seating - headed, vague, and heavy - hearted convention.
God bless this day.
