Following the recent reported cases linked to the country's overall security issue involving criminal acts such as armed robberies, thefts, serious bodily injuries and incidents caused by the outbreak of gas tanks, today under the direction of Kosovo Police Operations Director Colonel Gazmend Hoxha in two separate meetings have gathered acts from various institutions in the country.
In both meetings held, one with representatives of the Central Bank, the Association of Banks and Private Security Companys and the other with representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Agency for Emergency Management, representatives from the Energy Inspectorate from the Ministry of Economy and Environment, were discussed and considered further actions, measures to be undertaken and addressing issues in the fields of competencies at all levels of governance.
Representatives from the KP's Public Security Division, Community and Preventative Policy Directorate in Kosovo Police and Regional Police Directors also participated in these meetings.
Kosovo Police Operations Department Director Colonel Gazmend Hoxha intensified the importance of co-ordinating actions through such joint activities/meeting so that such issues, according to the importance, are addressed to competent institutions.
Among other things, it was suggested that Kosovo Police are ready to carry out their duties and responsibilities in terms of general security and to provide support to other institutions in the function of law enforcement and legal procedures in general, a Kosovo Police Media Community said.
