Austria and 4 other states complain that são vaccine is being distributed equally

The leaders of Austria, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Latvia have written the letter to the European Union, calling for discussions about the distribution of vaccines for Covid-19 within the bloc after Austria complained of a lack of equality. Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said Friday that vaccine doses are not being distributed equally among member states, despite the agreement within the bloc to do so according to the population number. He blamed the agreements reached between the EU board for vaccines and drug companies.
Kurz wrote on social networks Saturday that he and his four counterparts in the joint letter have called for discussions to find a European solution. The letter sent to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel was published by Austrian media.
Recent “Days, we have found that the distribution of doses of vaccines from drug companies to EU member states alone is not being implemented on the basis of equality, following the principle of population”, it says on paper.
Therefore, we call on you, Charles, to hold a discussion on this important issue among leaders as soon as possible”, writes Reuters.
Opposition parties have blamed Chancellor Kurz for trying to shift the blame for the slow vaccine process. The Social Democrats said he's looking for “, when he's aged” for his failures.
An EU official said Michel has accepted the letter and that a summit of leaders is already scheduled to be held on March 25th and 26th.
