France and Italy were preparing to lift their suspension of the AstraZeneca vaccine, as the European regulator said he was fully convinced that the benefits of these vaccines exceeded any risk, according to the paper.co.uk.
French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said they would immediately resume management of AstraZeneca vaccine if approval by the European Bars Agency will be received tomorrow, reports the ATS.
An EMA statement that there was no sign that the vaccination had caused blood clots described by Macro and Draghi as encouraging.
Seventeen European countries have suspended using this vaccine in recent days.
In response to the concern that the suspension could further slow the continent's immunization rates, the European Commission has urged governments to stop cutting down on vaccine reserves.
