La Gazzetta del Mezgiorno brings some of the first details from this event, which occurred shortly before 1600. Citing preliminary police information, Italian media wrote that the young Albanian man was killed in his home, which is on a street in which the wife of a local mafia boss lives.
But according to La Gazzetta del Mezagiorno, the victim does not turn out to be part of the crime world, although there were slight criminal precedents, Tv Klan reported.
The 28-year-old was allegedly killed by a person who, after opening the building gate, went up the apartment and opened fire in his direction.
The Albanian was sent to the hospital by a private car, likely according to neighbouring media, from a fellow community. He had taken three pistol bullets in his chest and stomach, and despite medical intervention, he could not survive. It was white shirts that called the police.
A few years ago, on August 29, 2014, Florian Mesuti was killed in the same area after interfering to eliminate a dispute between a minority from Bari and a community.
