Agim Veliu means he can rebel against LDK: Attacks Obadiah

Agim Veliu has become one of the most mentioned politicians in 2020, following continuing confrontations with Vetevendosje [but not just]. Today he has talked about the president's case and his position. Veliu, who was dismissed from a series of institutional responsibilities and who had lost much power during 2020, has [...]
Veliu, who was dismissed from a series of institutional responsibilities and who had lost much power during 2020, has meant that I will not support Vjosa Osman for president of the country.
I haven't decided yet whether Vjosa Osmani will vote because it's not discussed in the LDK structures, I have no information whether the leadership will meet, then that issue should come before the MP group and then I will give my position where it is discussed. Because we need to see what the LDK's benefit is in this case, what is the will of LDK voters, of the 110 thousand LDK voters who have remained loyal to the LDK, have taken the vote in LDK, not on the list where the other candidates were, they have, if they wish to vote, had the address, they have left the vote here in LDK. The LDK in these elections is known what it has been competing for, how it has competed, what it has supported, should be taken care of even these voters”, Veliu told Express on Friday.
Since 2020, Veliu has lost the position of the chairman of the Podujevo municipality [where he stepped down], that of the Minister of Internal Affairs at the Kurti Government [has been fired], that of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the Hoti Government [has collapsed by G. Constitutional] the LDK deputy chairman [has not been renamed] and has lost his driver, who was reportedly fired.
He has meant that he may not respect the LDK's decision if required to secure the quorum for Vjosa Osmani president.
This is not the problem of alignment or non-compliance, but to find the best solution for LDK, that's how I see it, because there were no lines ahead in LDK. The LDK has had ahead of attitudes and decisions that are not respected, we are not discussing it now on this level. Never have LDK deputies of the same opinion been unique. There have been LDK deputies who have not voted their prime minister. Even those at the helm of the LDK today have not acted on the decisions of the LDK, it shouldn't be so, because if they do, then many questions arise, many questions and dilemmas. Does anyone have a right to ask for a line-up that didn't stay in line to suppose, if we talk like this”, Veliu said.
But what does Kosovo need? Here's Veliu's response:
I think Kosovo needs the president, but I think Kosovo should have a consensual president, who has the support of 2/3 of the Parliament. A non-party president, departisanised, so I think we should talk about the political spectrum in general not only a political subject because it is not correct to place pressure only on LDK. Even, it is a major mistake of the LDK leadership that has brought itself into this situation for all pressure to fall on the LDK for resolving the president because LDK is the third party now, it is the opposition party that has no responsibility. Of course it would have to be the subject of the political subjects' table, opposition position in order to have a compliance with a candidate who gets the support of 2/3 he is elected, I'm saying it would be good to have a president with consensus.”, Veliu said. /Periscope
