The current mayor of the Ferizaj municipality, Agim Aliu, has confirmed the news.net will run for another term at the helm of this municipality.
Ali, who is also deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has said that even in these elections, which will be held in October of this year, he will be a candidate for Ferizaj's first.
“Yes, of course it will run, it will run even in this election I will be the candidate for mayor of the municipality”, Aliu said.
Otherwise, Aliu is also one of the founders of the Kosovo Democratic Party branch in Ferizaj.
Aliu had been elected mayor of Ferizaj municipality during 2012 in a one-year term. To resume his election in 2017, he was elected president.
Aliu had also served as an MP in the fifth legislature of the Kosovo Assembly during 2014-2017.
