Agency report shares horror data: Islamic militants are beheading little children

A mother told the agency that she had to see her 12 - year - old son until she was killed on a street near where she was hiding with other children.

In her report, Save the Children said she spoke to displaced families who reported scenes of cruelty in the gas-rich province.

A mother whose name was not given has said that her oldest child had been beheaded near where she was hiding with other children.

Our village was attacked that night and our houses burned,” she said.

When this all started, I was home with my four children. We tried to escape the mountains but they took my eldest son and cut his head off. There was nothing we could do because we were going to be killed. ”

Another woman said her son was also killed by militants, while she and her three children had been forced to leave.

After my 11-year-old child was killed, we realized that we were not sure to stay in the village anymore,” she said.
