Abbott has said that last year, Great Britain began working with the United Nations to strengthen Kosovo's response to pandemic, supporting its health and educational services.
At the same time, when the research for vaccines had just begun, it was clear that to end this pandemic we needed to ensure access to the vaccine of all. The United Kingdom was one of the first countries to support COVAX '%n' international initiatives to ensure that vaccines can be produced for any country in the world as soon as possible with over 500 million pounds of investment”, wrote Abbott, who was present at the vaccine acceptance ceremony at “Adem Jadari”.
Abbott further said that all international co-operation is being repaid with the arrival of the first group of vaccines.
