The National Institute of Public Health suggests that the total number of positive cases is 73.048 cases out of 329.900 suspected persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1.649 cases of death.
During the last 24 hours, 301 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 61,986, while the active number of cases is 9,413.
The number of positive cases and deaths by COVID-19 continues to be high and concerned as a direct result of neglect of the measures.
IK The KPS reiterates the call for implementation of all general and specific measures for protection from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The institute appeals to all citizens, institutions and public and private organisations, to the respect and undertaking of all necessary measures for prevention, management and control of COVIID-19, taking into account the provisions of the Law for the Prevention and Combat of COVID-19 pandemic, and decisions in force on the measures and obligations of institutions to implement general and specific measures for protection from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In particular, we call for implementation of recommendations and respect of restrictive measures for public activities, respectively, restrictions on the collection of citizens and public gatherings.
We appeal to the responsible institutions, the Kosovo Police and the responsible inspectors respectively to carefully monitor and take all necessary actions for implementing measures and other decisions in force in the implementation of the Law on Prevention and Combating COVID-19 in the Republic of Kosovo”.
