30 years in LDK, rebel positions: Who really is Lutfi Haziri?

Lutfi Haziri is the candidate for LDK chairman in the March 14th election, which comes from the resignation of the president-in-law, Isa Mustaf, following disappointing results in early parliamentary elections on February 14th. But who is Lutfi Haziri? Haziri is a 52-year-old politician from Gjilan, with a very much career [...]
Haziri is a 52-year-old politician from Gjilan, with a very rich political career.
He has been part of the LDK since March 1990, when he was 21 years old and took the lead in the LDK Youth Forum, the Gjilan branch.

Since then, Haziri has been in three mandates chairman of the Gjilan municipality [2000/2004 and 2013-2021], Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports, Minister of Local Power and Deputy Prime Minister.
Haziri is also known for his vast wealth. He has declared the Anti-Corruption Agency [ The AKK], only as real estate of nearly 2m euros, of which most are from lands inherited from its parents.
But his interesting image consists of a series of deeds, attributes, or incompatible attitudes.
Haziri has been seen for a long time as part of the LDK's old guard, probably because of great experience, but probably because of the great power accumulated in the party. However, he has not listed being among the most non-aligned politicians of this party.
Although the LDK is not recognised as a party flirting with Muslims, Haziri is a practitioner of religion after being seen praying in a mosque several times.
Politicians widely known as “Luta” made another influential exposure to his political image: he was seen having a earring.
Attitudes
Haziri has been a rebel politician and not even opposed to his political stances. Although he has repeatedly defended his party, Luta has failed to seek accounts from the party leadership in the event of poor results in the elections. He had warned him of this in the November 6, 2019, but also of the February 14, 2021 elections.
The mayor of Gjilan is also known for the strong support he enjoys in his municipality, Gnjilan é, and this is also due to the expressed pro-communication positions. This put Haziri in a very awkward political position, as the idea was being rejected by the vast majority of political forces and most of society. But he did not transform and was not intimidated by openly expressing his wish that Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac return to Kosovo.
And so, Mr. Haziri has also been critical of Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and his government.
What would the LDK benefit from with Lutfi Haziri at the helm?
It is not known who would approach and who would send Mr. Haziri if he takes the position of LDK's first. What is known, however, is that the LDK would have a prominently more dynamic chairman than the incumbent mayors Rugova, Sejdiu and Mustafa.
In addition, Haziri has managed to be very pragmatic in ensuring his political survival ʹ something that, of course, the LDK did. But, more importantly, he has shown courage to express even the completely anti-popular attitudes necessary for a serious political party.
But, Haziri has shown that he is not so afraid of Vetevendosje and its great force lying on social networks through the lynching of hate speech. Haziri at a media conference yesterday has shown his ideas for party re-organization.
