Vuciq: The situation is hopeless for us, but let's see how easily Albin Kurti will have

Serbia knows what its national and state interests are and will continue to fight for its people and their rights, despite the fact that the situation is almost hopeless”, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said when asked to comment on whether Serbia has an answer to pressures [...]

Vuciq stressed that dialogue with Kosovo is one of the most important things, while he also had a few words for Albin Kurti, ironising.

“You don't have an adequate answer, I see that our internal situation is being solved by Albin Kurti, who talked about what Serbia should look like and who should be in power. Stop, shut up, let them go, everybody's strong we'll let them go, let them do their job, we'll do our”, Vuchic told reporters at Belgrade airport after taking the Astra-Zeneka vaccine.

Regarding the fact that Kurti says he is not interested in dialogue with Belgrade more than with Serbs in Kosovo, Vucic says that “Serb representatives from Kosovo are not the ones who get 0.22% or those who get 2% of the votes from them, but those who get 95%<1>.

“They tried in every way to install the Serbs they want to talk to, from Raspic to Rada Trajkovic, so they failed. You can buy someone but can't buy 95% of people”, Vuciq stressed.

He also said this situation is extremely difficult for Serbia, almost hopeless, after 2004, 2008 and 1999, but added that “we still have to fight for our people, their interests and our right”.

And for them, as they say, everything is easy. We'll see how easy it's gonna be for”, Vuciq concluded.
