Vuciq: Macro doesn't force us to recognise Kosovo

“France has recognised Kosovo's independence, but what's important to Serbia is that its president, Emmanuel Macron, not only does he not want to impose such views, but shows a desire to listen to the Serbian side, which usually does not happen with many countries that have recognised Kosovo”, said [...]
Vuciq has thus responded to statements that citizens' expectations from France concerning resolving the problem with Kosovo should not be added.
“As far as Kosovo and Metohija are concerned, we should not first entertain false hopes for our people and say how wonderful things are in Kosovo and Metohija. They are not and won't be. Whoever says they are is a liar. We have to fight for the interests of our people, to fight for their security and defend the interests of Serbia”, said Vuciq, who added that it is not true that “things in Kosovo and Metohija will be milk and milk”.
Vuciq also noted that those who criticise Serbia's policy regarding Kosovo “spoke differently with Western representatives” today.
