Vuciq, speaking to Serbian media after meeting with the French president, has said he has talked about dialogue with Kosovo, fulfilling Washington's agreement.
Regarding Kosovo, Vucic said it is necessary for the other side to understand that “dialog is not a ʹbinary [publish] wishes”.
I don't see anything that can lead to serious dialogue. We are always ready for talks, but any agreement requires two sides, but at the moment I don't see another”, he said.
Vucic said Belgrade will wait to see if Pristina meets at least part of the Washington agreement.
He said Serbia will now wait to see whether Pristina will respect its part of the Washington agreement and if it will allow the construction of the railway from Pristina to Merdar.
As he stated, Pristina wants a railway through Mitrovica with Kraleva and Raska in order to take Serbian railways north of Kosovo.
“We searched the Pristina-Merdar road and railway, but they are not interested because there is no Serbian railway they can take. Another issue is Lake Weyman, except for swimming in Weyman and a small supply of Zubin Potok, we have nothing else”, he said.
I saw Palmer (state Department official) terribly resisted to end the agreement between Israel and Kosovo, and I know he was against Washington's agreement. Now we'll see if you want to share the energy sources of Weiman Lake”, Vuciq said.
