Krasniqi, who is expected to be Kosovo's Parliament deputy, says it will be the voice of war survivors.
In these days, I received thousands of messages, congratulations, greetings, incentives, support, to be myself in the mission that awaits me, the powerful institutional voice of survivors. Thank you all, one for one. I promise that I will be that voice you want to hear, I will work and fight for justice that belongs to us and that we have to reach”, Krasniqi wrote on Facebook.
Vasfije Krasniqi's full post without interference:
My fellow citizens!
Election Day, February 14th of this year, demonstrated clearly and convincingly how deeply rooted it is among us, democratic culture and its highest expression: the right to choose and choose, freedom to vote and vote.
No obvious irregularities, no events to testify otherwise, rather. The fact that all the press and Western caseroles fully praised the electoral process fills me not only with a feeling of pride for my people, but also gives me the conviction that with such a performance, with such political maturity, toward the future may only be viewed with optimism.
My dears!
It has been my privilege to compete as a candidate of the Vetvendosje Movement. The number four I kept on this list spoke of the priority with which this political grouping considers the subject of the armed struggle for freedom that we took 20 years ago. Keeping the spotlight on those people who mostly hit the war of 1998-99 means intentional efforts to look into the past, to shut up justice and through justice its consequences, means to think about building the future, without burdens and leftovers from the past. I'll work on it, no tiredness, no stopping, heart, soul, mind.
Dear fellow citizens!
In these days, I have received thousands of messages, congratulations, greetings, incentives, support, to be myself in the mission that awaits me, the powerful institutional voice of survivors. Thank you all, one for one. I promise you that I will be the voice you want to hear, I will work and fight for justice that belongs to us and that we must achieve. I am deeply convinced that we will reap the expected results, and that conviction gives me your presence, your support, your support, the love you show me.
Hug you all
Yours, Godspeed.
