“The PDK is for unity, the LDK opposes, due to Kosovo-centerism”, opinionist Syla has said.
As an idea, it was cited in the 2021 parliamentary elections by AAKA chairman Ramush Haradinaj. The latter has said that in the event Kosovo continues to remain at “status Quo”, the national union referendum with Albania will begin.
Meanwhile, Vetevendosje since its opposition has mentioned joining Albania. Recently, the leader of this party, Albin Kurti, has said that if there were any referendums for union between the two countries, he would vote in favour.
