Kosovo continues not to be supplied with vaccines against COVID-19, despite the increase in the number of infected people with the virus. If Kosovo is not urgently supplied with vaccines, as well as unless measures against COVIDD-19, a third wave of this virus may begin in the country.
So at least they value infection and health connoisseur.
As a third wave of coronarys is reported to have begun spreading to other countries, a further increase in the number of infections in the country is said to be indicators that the country is entering a new wave of coronary.
Infectian Hamdi Ramadani, has told Express that unless it is urgently intervened with austerity measures and vaccines, a new third wave of coronobitus could begin in the country.
He has stated that even the new English version of COVID-19 in attendance may also affect the growth of infection and a new wave of the virus.
It is possible that this increase in infection and presentation of the new option of COVID-19 in Kosovo made it possible to start a new wave or a third wave, if not urgently intervened with austerity measures and if it is not initiated by vaccine and immunization. Otherwise, we can even enter a third wave because we have the next version that made the movement and spread even faster”, he stressed.
Ramadani has said that the recent rise in coronary cases shows that the situation in the country is serious and tends to increase the number of infected.
He has asked citizens to respect safeguard clauses against this virus, while institutions to work harder on providing vaccines.
The number of those infected with COVID-19 in Kosovo has grown recently. All these numbers show a trend of severe infection. Our situation is fragile, and we have a tendency to increase infection. The most urgent thing is the fight against COVID-19, the struggle to limit infection and mortality. The competent health organs and Government must work in this direction to reduce the number of infection and mortality”, he added.
While the chairman of the Kosovo Medical Oda, Plerat Sejdiu, has told Express that Kosovo is threatened by a third wave of coronobius.
He has stressed that since other states speak of a third wave of COVID-19, the same could include the country.
I speak from logic what's happening in the world. The first wave has included Europe and then Kosovo, as well as the second wave. Now other states are also talking about the third wave of this virus, and if that happens, it comes to Kosovo”, he has declared.
Sejdiu has shown that health workers are already tired of confronting the pandemic, but will try to further manage the situation.
Although the number of people infected with COVID-19 is continuing to rise, the country has yet to receive any doses of vaccine against COVID-19.
Supply with COVAX vaccines was promised to take place during the month of February, but that Kosovo is even this month without supply. The first doses of the vaccine are now expected to come in March.
As long as many European countries that have been supplied with vaccines have tightened protection measures against coronary, the country has eased them.
Infectologists warn of worsening the situation with pandemics, until they urgently require supply of vaccines and additional measures.
