China has not properly investigated the origin of Covid during the first eight months of pandemic, according to a report stemming from WHO.
Scientists from UN agency also warned that Beijing was not sharing data, despite O'S chief BSH, Dr. Tedros insists that the bases were being laid to identify the origin of the virus.
The report comes amid reactions to WHO regarding the recent investigation into Wuhan, which supported the theories postponed by Beijing that the virus started outside China.
WHO investigators, led by Peter Embarak, visited Wuhan between July 10th and August 3rd last year as part of an advanced “ekpi” to then establish a broader investigation that took place in January.
The controversial document, seen by The Guardian, is a two-page report that has been prepared as the team left the country to sum up the findings.
After extensive discussions and presentations by Chinese counterparts, it seems that little had been done in connection with the epidemiological investigations in Wuhan since January 2020,” was written in the report.
