Protesters threw project and flame at the police, writes RT, translates Periscopi.
The violence erupted after the court's decision to punish Reper Pablo Hasel to nine months in prison over the text of a song insulting the king and pardoning certain terrorist groups.
At least 100 people have been arrested and 100 others have been injured in the clash between protesters and police, including a woman who lost one eye.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has condemned the violence, but government partners, the extreme left podemos, have voiced support with protesters.
Podemos leader Pablo Iglesias has said that “had no situation of complete democratic and political normality in Spain”, while his party took up a petition for Hasel's full pardon. /Periscope
