The candidate for MP from the Civic Initiative for Freedom, Justice and Survival, Rada Trajkovic, was promoted to media from where the other Serbian politician Oliver Ivanov was killed.

She said she had chosen the exact place to respect Ivanovic's efforts to improve the lives of Serbian citizens in the north, as well as to seek answers about the event that took his life.

Trajkovic said Oliver Ivanovic's family, but others should understand the truth about who killed him and who participated in organising orders for the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.

She added that the other Serb candidates who are in the race in the February 14th elections, except for Serbian List candidates, are not allowed to speak freely and present their programme to citizens in northern Kosovo.

What remains of us and is preserved is this part of northern Kosovo, this part of freedom where Mr. Oliver Ivanov gave his life and was killed. And I would say, his war and his mission, the idea of freedom and death for freedom, are something that left at least space for someone here to speak and express his views”, Trajkovic stressed.

Trajkovic stressed that she was very disappointed with the judicial process under way for Ivanovic's murder, saying the process is constantly postponed.

She claimed she expected representatives of the Serbian List to appear before the tribunal, who, as she pointed out, are responsible for the implementation of a video in which Ivanovic was targeted as a traitor.

I must tell you, I am not someone who thinks the most important thing is to enter the Kosovo Parliament, but in this now historic country, I am here to see how we are and which side we are from. I expect that this organisation, I would say the Serbian criminal List, which did everything to prevent Oliver Ivanoviqi from being with us today, should be part of the process (trial) in Pristina, but not just those”, Trajkovic said.

Rada Trajkovic noted that the campaign in Serb majority municipalities is impossible and that Serbs are in complete mental darkness.

Regarding the lack of northern journalists in this activity, Trajkovic added that she does not know why they were not there and whether it is a matter of fear or financial motive, but she confirmed with certainty that Oliver gave his life for freedom, especially for the freedom of all people in northern Kosovo.
