Tragic: 31-year-old jumps off the bridge with her son, child saves miraculously

A 31-year-old woman died after jumping off the Vidor Bridge in Traviso's area, with her son a year and a half in his arms.

The child was found by rescue teams in desperate conditions and taken to Traviso's hospital.

The baby, one and a half years old, could survive.

This was reported by rescue teams and carabiniers.

Police in Traviso had been notified by 31-year-old relatives waiting for him at home.

Not seeing them arrive, they raised the alarm and left in search of the wife and child, finding the car, a Y Lancia who had stopped near the bridge over the Pyves in Vidor.

The woman, an employee of Wedelago's origin, passed away while the child was saved and transported to the hospital with various politicians.

She had left home last night, losing her mark. When the alarm arose, carabinieri found the empty car, near the bridge over the Py, in Vidor, about 15m high. On the shore, firemen discovered the body of the woman and the surviving child but many serious injuries.

According to initial information, the young woman, living in Vedelago (Treviso), suffered from a form of depression and was being treated in a specialized center. She had left home to visit her parents in Caerano San Marco before the fatal act.
