The attacker identified as Jeffrey Spaide was involved in disputes with James and Lisa Goy, who lived on the other side of the road and who were driving snow off the private road, the regional prosecutor's office reported.
The two people who suffered from the attack were driving the snow away from the parking lot area across the street and throwing it on the attacker's property, authorities reportedly announced. Spaidee asked them to stop this action, and the quarrel soon came out of control.
After the quarrel, Spaides reportedly walked into the house and took a gun, went out and fired many times from a distance close to neighbor. He then entered the house again and took a long gun that shot the neighbors, leaving them dead.
A police official said this was not the first time these neighbours had argued about the removal of snow. Two months ago, they had argued for the same reason, but the police had not been notified about the case.
Police went to the scene a few minutes before the attack on two American neighbours and as the police approached, they heard a shot from the assailant's house, which they believe was a suicide shot.
The couple killed by the neighbor left behind a 15-year-old boy with autism. Her grandparents are going to take care of her now, writes CNN
