The latest theory claims to have finally discovered how dinosaurs disappeared.

Scientists have long agreed that dinosaurs had disappeared from <x0mpactor Chicxulub”, which left behind a massive crater on the coast of Mexico.
They also agreed to the devastating horror that the impact would bring. It wiped out nearly three quarters of life on earth, leaving the earth on an endless night and with an 18 - month winter of fire falling from heaven, writes Independent.
But what was more vague is the cause of this impact. Scientists do not know whether the object in question was comets or asteroids, and how it struck the Earth with such destructive force.
The answer to this question not only sheds light on the end of the dinosaurs but also on the condition of the solar system and on the place we take, also considering the fear that we may be hit by a similar devastating event.
The new research published yesterday in Scientific Reports attempts to provide answers to this question. Analyzing the data on objects flying around the solar system, as well as the simulations of how gravity would push towards us, they say they have found a way to explain how the earth was hit with such great force.
They suggest that the journey of the object that wiped out dinosaurs in the Oort cloud [a comet shell located on the edge of our solar system]. Part of the comet had been removed from Jupiter's gravity route and sent to the sun, which divided that heavenly stone to pieces.
“Practically, Jupiter behaves like a kind of pinball machine,” said Siraj, a student who had worked on this research. The Yupiter hits those comets that have long time in orbit and that bring them very close to the sun. ”
