One day later, the guy from Winter D. (25) and B. (19) were arrested. Reason: Both people knew the killer from Vienna. Since then, both are in custody.
Both men had visited Cameron F. in the summer of 2020
and B are not unknown to Swiss authorities. 25-year-old D. grew up in the Cyril canton and played football for a long time. D. It has been converted to Islam and was well connected on the Islamic stage around the AnKur Mosque in Winterthur, which is now closed.
The two had stayed in Vienna in the summer of 2020, months before the attack. There, they met Cameron F. And slept in his apartment. They also shook hands with other extremists.
