Some countries in Europe have still vaccinated the population because of the Codavi-19 pandemic.
This could lead to political tension, writes Swiss Blick.
The vaccine campaigns against the coronary are making slow progress in European countries.
The Swiss vaccine rate is now slightly more than 6 per cent.
There are several countries in Europe where no single doses of the coronary vaccine have been administered.
Balkan countries stand between chair, bench
The end of these statistics all come from the Balkans, as a report by CNN shows. Countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro or Kosovo are still waiting for them to receive one of the active components, while some states are finishing the vaccine.
On the other hand, Albania and Macedonia have been able to manage only a few doses so far.
The problem in these countries lies between the chair and the bench, because they do not belong to the European Union, they have no right to order vaccines.
An alternative would be for the affected Balkan states to benefit from international aid programmes.
Serbia chose another strategy
So while Albania, Kosovo, have little choice but to wait for the vaccine, it throws out neighbours like Serbia has received a dose.
With over a million doses administered, Serbia is the clear leader in the region. The country has a vaccine rate of over 14 per cent!
The government in Belgrade managed to do so mainly because of Russia and China.
A large part of the formerly vaccinated Serbian population has received the active Sputnik V or Chinese wine from producer Sinopharm.
Serbia reportedly has ordered over 40,000 vaccine units from producer Pfizer / Bitonech.
