22 thousand packages with external balloting have been verified so far by the Central Election Commission, the doctor from the organisation “Germin” has announced. At KTV, he said that there were 38 thousand and 25 ballots in these envelopes, out of which 11,000 and 71 were refused.
In general, the CEC has accepted over 43 thousand packages of ballots from abroad for the February 14th elections.
In percentage, about 30 percent of votes from abroad are being rejected by the CEC. The main reasons for voter rejection, according to the doctor, are group voting with different surnames.
He has added that he expects until early next week to complete the verification of these votes.
Without votes counted from abroad and on bail, the Vetevendosje Movement is leading by more than 47 per cent of the vote. Next comes PDK with 17 percent, LDK with 13th and AAK 7.4. The recount is about 500 seats.
