The Strategy for Communication of the Prosecutorial System adopted for 2021-23

Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK), led by Chief Justice Maloku, has held the 196th meeting in a row, through remote communication, in which it has approved a series of documents from the fields of its responsibilities.

Following the approval of the processes of two previous meetings, reviewing the report on the activities and recommendations of the National Co-ordinator for Combating Economic Crime for the October-December 2020 period was the first topic addressed at this meeting, where KPK members after discussions, with some recommendations the same report approved.

At this same meeting, the Strategy for Communication of the Prosecutorial System for the 192021-23s was addressed and the KKP members said that the procedure aimed at advancing communication in the prosecutorial system.

KPK members during this meeting aimed at establishing efficiency in dealing with subjects at the Pristina Department of Basic Prosecutor General, have reviewed and approved the prosecutor's request that the provisions of the Unit for combating corruption and economic crimes be treated by all the prosecutors of this department, and not only by some prosecutors, as had been appointed with an earlier decision.

The Council has further made the decision to publicize the competition for Chief Prosecutors of the Gjakova Foundation, has established the evaluation panel and the panel for review concerning the realisation of this process, and has also made the proclamation of permanent transfer and advance of prosecutors, where it has established the Commission for transfer and advance of prosecutors.

Prosecutors' Performance Commission Chairman Ardian Hajdaraj has presented the annual Plan for assessing Prosecutors' performance for 2021, which was approved by KKP members.

Regarding the starting point for KPK's 2021 work plan review, the plan was decided to be addressed at the next meeting.
