The Special Court has rejected the requests for release from custody of the two KLA OVL leaders, Nasim Haradinaj and Hysni Gucati. Pre-emptive Procedure Judge Nicholas Guillou has continued his detention with a decision issued during yesterday's day. Also, in his decision, Guillou has asked the parties to submit their papers in writing for the next term of a plea for release from custody.
The judge has given them deadlines to do so by April 1st. Also, Guillou has asked the Special Prosecutor's Office to submit statements, audio/video material by officers who have arrested Nasim Haradinaj. The SPS has been given until 12 March.
