Snowstorms in Germany hurt 28 people

Snow storms and strong winds have swept through northwest Germany. The bad weather caused the trains to stop, while hundreds of traffic accidents have been caused.

According to police, the number of injured persons has reached 28 people, including two in serious condition, on icy roads.

Authorities have announced stopping lines between Hamburg and Hanover and between Berlin and the country's West, due to snow on track.
