Shala i PDK: Our surprising victory has a name, Hashim Thaci, Kadri Wessel

He has said that a few hours before the election silence begins, he has decided to deliver a message to citizens.

Shala has mentioned numerous meetings with citizens and visits to different Kosovo countries, while speaking of the last week of the campaign, which she has not been able to carry out because she was infected with Avid-19, the Periscope broadcasts.

This election campaign for me was different. Differently, because, just last week, just when I was planning to expand the central part of my election programme, as well as that of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the faithless virus, Ovid-19, forced me to retreat and isolate myself. My state of health, as well as my wife, Sala Berisha Shala, suddenly deteriorated, and we were forced to both be hospital”, wrote Shala on Facebook.

He has said that this election campaign has been held under uneven democratic conditions, since the PDK has been unjustly deprived of the right to be led by its leader, Kadri Wessel.

Shala has said that Wessel's absence has also seen it in the citizens she met at gatherings.

But Kadri Wessel mostly missed me, because we were used to working together for more than 30 years, in any situation around us, like two inseparable brothers. This time, the Kosovo Democrats' Field led Mr. Enver Hoxhaj, but she had the spirit and sign of Hashim Thaci and Kadri Wessel all along. The political and national heritage of these two leaders, who created Kosovo's freedom and independence, lies on the basis of the political philosophy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. This political philosophy today is the guarantor of the surprising victory of the February 14th 2021-818x1> elections, Shala wrote.
