Serbian historian Milan Protic has declared that he thinks Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq will never recognise Kosovo.
Preotic said the new patriarch has no different position on the Kosovo issue from the position of the Serbian Orthodox Church so far.
I have no idea that his position is different from the position of the Serbian Orthodox Church. I don't think this government will make any moves set on that issue”, he said.
The Serbian historian also said that those who think the Government of Serbia will sign an agreement on the region for mutual recognition with Kosovo are wrong.
I think it's a wrong assumption, I don't think it's going to happen. And that this government has no intention of doing it”, he added.
