Selimi: Police will be equipped with body cameras, statements will be recorded with video

AAK MP candidate Selim Selim Selimi has spoken of the changes this party will bring to the Kosovo Police if it comes to power.

He has said that in the Haradinaj Government, several procedures had been launched for improving the conditions of police officials and facilitating procedures, thus to the fullest of citizens' freedoms.

“At the time of the Haradinaj Government, we have launched several procedures for providing police officers with body cameras or as they are known as blobdy-cams, while I am pro- videonsizing citizens' statements at the police or when they are questioned or when reporting something, as receiving written statements can be violated by the Human Rights”, Selim said at RTV Dukagjoni, Perisko broadcast.

He has said that the procedure of selecting police investigators for investigating various cases will also be eased so that they are not influenced by commanders or prosecutors. /Periscopi/
