The candidate for MP from the AAK ranks, Selim Selimi, has spoken about the party's plans, where he is part of fighting corruption.
He has talked about the AAK's concrete plan to fight this phenomenon, including the changes that have been made during the time he was a minister of justice.
So far we've made some changes, we've paved the way for denouncing corruption cases and especially tenders, since it is thought to be the highest corruption. We have also made changes such as the dismissal of senior officials in cases when they filed charges of corruption against them, as we think the one accused of corruption must go home until the trial is concluded. We as the AAK plan the establishment of the Anti-Corruption Task Force, which will function as a kind of FBI bureau, but will only deal with investigating corruption cases”, Selimi said at RTV Dukagujini, broadcast Periscopi.
He has said that even though Kosovo has a high level of corruption, this year it has been better than all neighbouring countries in fighting corruption. /Periscopi/
