The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement said the agreement was formally signed without any amnesty or additional, maintaining the arms control accord by February 6th 2026, writes RT, the Perscope translation.
Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin had signed extending the arms control agreement, following negotiations with US President Joe Biden.
The treaty was in danger of expire after Donald Trump's previous administration had refused to extend it without some preconditions that were considered unacceptable by Moscow. /Periscope
