The vaccine is called “CoviVac” and was produced by the Chumakov Centre founded in 1955. Earlier, Russia approved and used two other vaccines, one of which was “Sputnik V” with efficiency over 91%, developed by scientific institutes “Gamale”.
Since green light, over 2 million people have been vaccinated in Russia. The other was created by Vector institutes, but its efficiency is not yet known.
“vaccine CoviVac”, unlike Sputnik V, is created with disabled coronarys, meaning that he has been stripped of his breeding ability. It is given in two doses, with a 14 - day difference and can be preserved in normal refrigerator temperatures.
