It is under caution at home supported by its family and health professionals”, the family said in a statement that has issued the United Arab Emirates Embassy in London.
The statement said that images transmitted to the BBC and other media did not “indicate the actual status”.
It continues to improve, and we hope it will return to public life at the right time”, the royal family said.
Panorama, British broadcaster's research program The BBC, released on February 16th a video in which Princess Latifa, one of the daughters of Dubai's leader, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, appeared, saying she was isolated against her will in an unequipped villa.
Princess Latifa bin Mohammed al-Maktoum has received international attention in 2018 when a human rights group has published a video she has done while trying to leave Dubai.
The campaign for the release of Latifa, through which her long-term release has been requested, has said that she has managed to hand over a phone to her.
I'm a hostage in this villa, which has become a prison”, Latifa, 35, said in a video published by Panorama. “All windows are closed, cannot open either”.
She said she made video in the villa bathroom, since that's the only key space. I don't know if she'll survive this”, she said in one of the videos.
The BBC said the videos were recorded several months ago.
On Friday, the United Nations Human Rights Commissioner's Office requested from the United Arab Emirates to ensure evidence that the princess is alive.
However, no video or photograph was attached to the royal family's statement that could serve as proof that the princess is alive.
