Redzep has said that in the February 14th elections in Kosovo, Vuciqi has chosen Bosniak deputies in Kosovo with his influence.
According to information from the CEC, the mandates were won by Adrijana Hodzic and the Vacat coalition. This has been a plan of the Serbian List that through Adriana Hodzic, who has been in agreement for 20 years with them and Rasim Demiri of Vakat, who was removed from the candidate list because of the Constitutional Court's decision.
Their plan was to win our three seats, and that can be seen their votes are only in Serb municipalities in Kosovo. We do not sell our national identity to anyone and consistently, dignified and honestly we have fought for our rights, confirming ourselves through Kosovo institutions, defending the rights of the Bosnian people that the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo guarantees. And so we're going to continue with our strategy and vision, not allowing any influence from other states of”, Redzep said.
For the Bosnian newspaper, former Minister of Management of Local Power has said she expects to be back in co-operation with Vetevendosje, because her party was the only one of the minorities that had voted for Kurti's government's collapse.
I was minister in Albin Kurt's Government and I thank him for the trust he gave me. We're the only political party that didn't vote for the collapse of the government at the difficult time of the pandemic. We have good co-operation with Vetevendosje as well as Prizren, because we are also in the coalition. We'll probably be stronger now because of the principles we showed and stayed in opposition with just us, all the rest voted for the collapse of the Government. Of course we'll be part of the next government”, the NDS0 chairman said.
Rexhepi has also commented on the current reports of Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The relationship between Kosovo and BiH is at a very low level. I expect greater cohesion with our future Government because Albin Kurti, as Albanian leader, has a strong desire and will to co-operate institutionally. But we cannot do it alone, we need the support of the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency. Bosniaks are a constitutional category, the third most populated community in Kosovo, we are constantly fighting for our institutional rights, preserving our national identity and Bosnian language. Even here, we really need help from BiH with regard to our educational system and the quality of our teaching, namely supporting the textbooks for national subjects”, Emily Rexhepi said.
