CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has said the reasons for recounting these locations could be classified into four main groups:
1. During the processing of the results of the political subjects and candidates 35 countries have failed to process as fair because during the audit, it has been noted that political subjects' votes in the form of results have not been delivered correctly.
2. During processing the results form of candidates 6 countries have failed to process as fair due to technical problems. These forms have been met in a vague way and cannot be read with accuracy.
3. On candidate results forms, in 370 seats, it has been noted that the candidate has more votes than the political subject and, in certain cases, all candidates have more votes than the political subject.
4. In 83 seats, during the comparison of votes of political subjects to candidates' votes, results in all of these subjective cases having no votes, while candidates or candidates have votes and analsalts.
Elez has said that in general, the number of recounted pollings so far with the Central Election Commission's decision, including 12 recounted positions last week, is 506 seats.
On the other hand, at the Centre of Counting and Results is continuing the Voter Service, which is making the assessment of about 43 thousand and 500 alleged ballot packages, which have been accepted during the voting period through mail.
Through this process, we will be able to establish the number of ballots that came from abroad.
So far, 19 thousand and 168 alleged ballot packages that have been submitted to the evaluation process, as you know in a package, may have more than an envelope with a ballot. After the assessment, 22 thousand and 326 envelopes of ballot papers were approved, while 9 thousand and 49 envelopes containing balloting have been refused”, he stated.
Their excuses differ.
Some of these packages have been sent by persons who are not registered as voters outside Kosovo; others because they were sent by people who were rejected in the application period.
Likewise, in some cases packages were sent by unidentified voters (group vote); or that non-valide documents were attached to the package they sent.
