Chief Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi said that after the secret surveillance measures company has been issued the order to raid several premises. The raids began in the morning, while they also assisted the departments of economic crimes and corruption within the police.
During these actions we've seized huge amounts of money, cars, computers and phones. 12 are under arrest, 10 are officials and two citizens who have helped them in different forms. They are accused of misusing official duty, taking bribes”, Lumez said.
He has warned that the action will continue for the next few days.
While Economic Crimes and Anti-Corruption Director Nazim Sahiti has said that in this action it seized some 400,000 euros.
