The VV chairman had been associated with numerous police forces during this pre-election visit to the Kosovo town.
A group of people insulted Kurt and attacked him with various items after his arrival in this city.
These persons now turn out to have been interviewed by Kosovo police, who are continuing the case with regular procedure.
The Kosovo male victim has been reportedly offended and attacked by several persons. The police unit identified and interviewed the suspects. At the prosecutor's decision, the case goes to regular procedure”, the police report said.
But why did Kurt have to have so many police forces with him in the predominantly Albanian city of Kosovo?
Police for Koha newspaper have given this answer:
Kosovo's “Police as the law enforcement institution, all its actions are in line with legal authorisations and its operational planning. Kosovo police, in terms of early elections for the Republic of Kosovo Assembly in time, have prepared the operational order, aimed at providing security, maintaining order and public calm, as well as managing the election process in all phases, before and after the election process. Police actions complete the operational command, where, according to operational information and assessments, they engage relevant police units in order to create a calm and secure climate for all”, the Kosovo Police have said.
