Kosovo Police Continue Operation 2021, Today Nine Nine Other Persons Suspected in Illegal Action Arrested by Economic Crimes
Pristina, on February 25, 2021,
Kosovo police, in co-operation with the competent Prosecution in the continuation of the Operational Plan 2021, have also undertaken other operational and investigative actions that connect with the case and during the operation nine (9) others have been arrested.
Based on the ongoing investigations, there are doubts based on the fact that people suspected by bribery have managed to receive subsidies from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Suspects are citizens of different municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo, and the same person today as 25.02.2021 have been arrested by the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK) KPs, while in co-ordination with the prosecutor of the case, have been interviewed and the same have been released for regular procedure.
Persons have been arrested in various locations, including the following municipalities: three (3) people from the Istog Community, two (2) people from the Lipjan municipality, one (1) person from the Ferizaj municipality, one (1) person from the Pristina municipality, and two (2) from the Pec Community.
All further actions are being undertaken by Kosovo Police and will be undertaken in close co-ordination with the state prosecutor, and in detail you will be notified on time.
