The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo, in Serbia's government, Petar Petkovovic, has invited VV chairman Albin Kurtin to become a loyal Serb citizen so that he can deal with Serbia's Constitution, even as a private person, and worth only one vote.
The constitution of the Republic of Serbia recognises the undisputed international judicial fact that Kosovo and Metohia are part of Serbia, and the only ones who have been invited to deal with the content of our highest constitutional act are citizens of Serbia”, Petkov said today.
He has considered Vetevendosje Movement Chairman and candidate for Kosovo prime minister Ablin Kurti as a Serb citizen, while he has said he could thus speak on the issue.
“In that sense, Albin Kurti, as a citizen of Serbia, has the authority to speak about it, but only as a private person, because his opinion is worth his vote, and the content of our Constitution certainly will not become the object of any conversation under foreign care”, Petkovic said.
He said that “what Kurti and his men with minds call the Constitution of Kosovo is a temporary act and a kind of legal provision”.
“must be changed urgently”, Petkovic stressed.
In the days when we are approaching the anniversary of the adoption of our country's Constitution of Sreten and State Day, I remind Kurt that Serbia has been implementing the most modern and advanced constitutional and legal solutions since 1835, when it was its first adopted Constitution guaranteeing freedom for all loyal citizens of Serbia, so that when it once again becomes a loyal citizen of Serbia, all the rights of personal and collective minorities will be guaranteed”, Petkov said.
