The Democratic League of Kosovo, the branch in Pec, has reacted to recent developments in this party, as well as to the warning of resignation from the leadership and chairman Mustafa.
Through a media communique, the LDK in Pec has said that this party, regardless of circumstances, must continue to preserve democratic values and principles.
The head of this branch has said it supports the party leadership's proposal for the early Election Assembly.
They have also pledged to make their contribution through 30 delegates selected at the July 6th 19th Election Assembly.

At the regular meeting, the headship of the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Peja branch, held on February 22, 2021, in which the absolute majority of the members of headship participated was discussed with the outcome of the elections, as well as the proposal for organising early party elections. After discussions of all members of headship, in order to be contributing to a democratic process, Headship agreed to release this:

Despite the specific circumstances in which it is now located, the Democratic League of Kosovo, which has always had the main role of statehood and building democracy, must continue without any dilemma to preserve democratic values and principles, which are the foundation of the party's organisation and the functioning of our society.
The LDK's leadership in Pec supports the party's proposal for holding the early Election Assembly, in which new party-led structures will be selected.
The LDK's leadership in Pec will make its active contribution to the 30 delegates elected in the Electoral Assembly on July 6th, 2019.
The LDK leadership will support all initiatives that enable a democratic race, with equal competition, with more than one candidate, who will undergo the secret vote.
