The PDK branch's Steering Council in Istog has dismissed the current head of the branch, Lulzim Shoshi, and the chairmanship of this branch.
The Council said this decision was made after the party's poor outcome in the February 14th extraordinary elections.
“Aware of the situation created in the Democratic Party of Kosovo, with the absence of the PDK's historic leader, former Kosovo president. Hashim Thaci, as well as the absence of our Chairman. Kadri Wessel, who is unjustly accused and tried in The Hague by the Special Court, in the PDK branch in Istog, gives full support to the ruling structures of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the UD of the PDK chairman. Enver Hoxha, for the brilliant campaign made during the February 14th 2021 elections, as well as the hard work they are constantly doing”, says the report.
The council, among the reasons for Shoshi's dismissal, has listed “mismanagement of the branch, the division of all its structures by the mayor himself, excessive arrogance towards each member, the total lack of branch activity at all levels, the determination of internal debate, the position of co-governance with the LDK saw a written agreement, where even today the principles of joint governance are not known, from this agreement at least implemented by PDK policies”
The initiative for resignations in a sign of disappointment for Shoshi started months ago by branch facilities, the announcement said.
