The parents of high school students who had been detained for a month for participating in the beating in Llapnasella have gathered in front of the police station in Gracanica, revolted by the detention decision.
Parents are concerned, as they stated, because they do not know what will happen next to their children if the procedure continues in 30 days.
They claim that no one addressed them and gave them an explanation of what would happen next.
One of the parents, Slavisa Ristic of Laplje Selo, addressed reporters, saying they were united in the assessment that the sentence was very severe and asked why another participant in the beating -- namely, the son of Kosovo politician Nenad Rassic -- was not punished, but only their children.
“We are protesting against the court's strange decision,” stressed Ristic.
They stressed that two young people were among those arrested who were called as witnesses and then arrested.
My brother witnessed the beating and transported injured friends to the hospital, later he received a call from police to report for an interview, and after hearing, as a witness, he was detained with other young men,” said brother-in-law Bojan dealt with.
The sister of one of the banned high school students, Maja '%okiić, said all the beatings in custody were hired, but that “polica did his own and everything went too far from”.
