Despite repeated calls from the two countries' authorities for citizens to avoid unnecessary movements, it seems that such counsel and warnings have fallen on deaf ears.
This situation has concreteised Sunday evening at the Morina border checkpoint, where hundreds of Kosovo citizens have waited in line for hours to return to their homes after a weekend in Albania.
The flow of cars is disturbing and raises the alarm once again for more awareness and accountability on the part of citizens.
