This is the state of pandemic in Mitrovica schools

The general pandemic situation in Mitrovica municipality schools is currently stable.

Since the start of the new school year in Mitrovica with Covid-19 have infected 11 teachers and 9 students, while currently in this municipality from 32 schools in all, 30 are conducting lessons according to scenario A.

Ismet Ferizi, director of the Education Directorate in Mitrovica, has indicated that the Ministry of Education and Science has prepared three different scenarios for the start of the new school year in pandemic time, scenario A meaning physical learning in schools, recurrent B scenarios, and scenario C learning online from different platforms.

According to him, responsible municipal institutions have managed to cope extremely well with this situation despite the circumstances created.

The total number of schools that total 32 have never stopped working on A scenario... so now we have only 9 students infected with Ovid-19, but the number of infected teachers has been 11, maybe this number is moving from day to day, but it's actually this number, which I think is not that disturbing. Currently, the situation is stable, and we have no major lessons disorder. I can say that we have done very well in the face of this situation compared with the circumstances that have been. Fate has wanted, but even our organization has made it manageable in good form”, Feriz said of Kosovas.

And Veysel Abdurrahman, the quality co-ordinator at the music school “Tefta Tashko” in Mitrovica, stressed that the current situation in terms of pandemic is stable.

Of a total of 29 educators, 7 educators in the first half-year have been infected with Covid-19, but fortunately students from high school have not been infected and we have been very fortunate as a school that hasn't come to the distribution of the virus to students. Currently, the school has passed on to scenario A, the situation is stable, there is no ID of any case within school”, Abdurrahman said.
