Palmer has said these Washington cases are viewed as separate.
He has further said that the United States of America supports dialogue led by the European Union and the work Miroslav Lajcak is doing as a special representative.
While remembering that the US is investing political energy and capital for normalising reports between Kosovo and Serbia.
We see all these issues as separate. There is a specific dynamic for normalisation efforts between Kosovo and Serbia, it is important and the United States is investing significant efforts, energy and political capital in it. We fully support the EU-led dialogue process and the work of Miroslav Lajcak as EU Special Representative”, Palmer has said of the Voice of America.
In addition, he has said he expects there to be progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina and says the situation there has nothing to do with the Pristina-Belgrade negotiation process.
“at the same time, we would like to see progress in BiH in terms of reform, but do not establish any link between the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue process and what is happening in BiH. When I say that, I think it is clear to all that good things in the Balkans have produced positive consequences elsewhere in the Balkans. If there could be reconciliation and normalisation between Serbia and Kosovo, I would say it is good for all in the region, including BiH. If BiH can present reforms needed to advance on the European road, I think it is good for its neighbours. I think this is good for Montenegro, for Serbia. This is good for Croatia, well for the entire region of”, it has said among other things.
