According to the USAID-funded World Justice Report, Kosovo is ranked the second best state in rule of law in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region.

So far, there had been no reliable measurements comparing the rule of law in Kosovo with that of other countries, but last year USAID had first included Kosovo in its Law Rule Index, Kosovo conveys.

According to the report, Kosovo's rule-of-law sector has emerged in the top of 128 states and is ranked second in the East Europe and Central Asia region”, says USAID article.

Kosovo did better in government accountability than in government performance in its duties towards citizens”.

“Raport also noted that a common trait among Kosovo forces is a committed society that feels powerful to voice its concerns, while the challenges of rule of law in Kosovo concern time lines and efficiency in regulatory reinforcement and in civil and criminal justice”.
